I love to share my passion for studio photography and run intensive but fun studio days in Brighton, East Sussex. I am joined by my creative partner Justyna Neryng on these workshops. An award winning photographer in her own right, Justyna is an invaluable part of my studio process. She will be on hand to share valuable insights and advice, assist with helping you to realise your vision as well as make some wonderful behind the scenes images for you to mark the occasion with! These workshops are for small groups of photographers and cater for beginner’s and seasoned veterans. Each workshop follows a different theme, from headshot photography, creative portraiture, dance photography, and even a series of masterclasses based on the techniques of the likes of Irving Penn! I think I am one of the only photographers that shares the work made by photography students during my workshops. I take great pride in the achievements of my students and facilitate creativity and technical skills throughout the day!
The models that join my workshops are not paid, instead they are offered a selection of the images made by students. So we strive to aim high and ensure every student succeeds in making some terrific portraits. Included in the price are three professional edits per student made by my team.

A Masterclass in Creative Lighting for the Studio Nude
Come join us at Tichborne Studio for an exciting event focused on the art of nude studio photography. We will be joined by two professional models on the day. Our male model will join us for the first session. Wed will explore how to light the male form, how to accentuate muscle, physique and form. How to compose your figure in the frame of the camera too. There will be top tips on how to work with figure models, how to pose them, how to collaborate to get the best images and the do’s and don’t that must be adhered to when working in this way. The afternoon session we will be joined by a female model. This last session will focus on the female form, how to use light to soften contours and to abstract the body into aesthetic forms. Both sessions will focus on the beauty of the human form and teach techniques to avoid erotism and how to focus on respect and positivity
