Photography Workshops, Training and Experiences
I love to share my passion for studio photography and run intensive but fun studio days in Brighton, East Sussex. These workshops are for small groups of photographers and cater for beginner’s and seasoned veterans. Each workshop follows a different theme, from headshot photography, creative portraiture, dance photography, and even a series of masterclasses based on the techniques of the likes of Irving Penn! A Masterclass in Creative Studio Lighting for Portraits.
This workshop focuses portraits of performers, musicians, circus performers,and dancers. Expect plenty of tattoos and attitude!
Learn some really dynamic lighting approaches to match the look of these larger than life performers.
A really great opportunity to add some unique and dynamic images to your portfolios.
You will leave the studio with far more confidence to be creative with lighting as well as being able to add some strong images to your portfolios and social media feeds.
We will be working with both constant and strobe lighting, learning how to shape the light and how this will effect the aesthetics of your portraits.
This is a full-day course with an educational focus: as well as being a fun and sociable day, you’ll produce some amazing images and have some new skills in your toolkit!
You’ll be working in a very small group.

Portrait Studio Hire
I am pleased that my photography partner is making their studio available for hire. Ideal for portrait photograph, headshots, packshot and product photography or just an affordable space where you can experiment with a wide range of lighting and even hire medium format digital and film cameras! This is the studio I use to produce all the portraits you see on this website.

Fully equipped with studio lights with a range of modifiers, paper or cloth backdrops ,ideal for portraiture.
Technical assistance or use of my medium format cameras (Fujifilm GFX 100s, Mamiya RB67 with Polaroid back)available upon request.

Rates are £20 per hour , minimum hire time is 2 hours and maximum hire time is 5 hours.
