I am a firm believer that photography is both an incredible way to respond to the world as well as an open doorway to creativity! My ONLINE photography courses run for 10 weeks and each course explores different aspect of photography. They are aimed at semi confident camera users, photographers that want to learn the language of photography and become more creative. Engaging in photography and visual language helps with cognitive development, problem-solving skills, and emotional intelligence. As individuals grow older, art continues to play a vital role in supporting our mental health. Creating and appreciating art have been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. It allows individuals to process and express their emotions in a healthy way, while also fostering a sense of purpose and accomplishment. The Barbican Centre

Join me on this half day workshop exploring the street photography and architecture around the Barbican Centre in London.
Planned for the height of summer and hoping for terrific hard light to cast interesting shadows and make a theatre of the environment.
In this workshop you will develop exposure skills to help you manage hard light and protect your highlights. Learn who to compose differently to make the most of b/w or colour. By the end of the workshop you will have some valuable insights to creative thinking and street photography as well as some striking images to add to your folios.
There is also an optional online meet up for an hour where you can discuss the picture outcomes from the day with your peers, get valuable advice as to how to improve shots, and make different creative editing choices.
The day is open to ALL levels of photographer and any camera system is welcom

Brighton Street and Beach
Saturday 22nd AUG
4 hours plus 1 hour online image review
Join me for this half day workshop celebrating the kitsch weirdness of Brighton in the height of summer. We will focus on hard light and shadow, bold vibrant colours and capturing the ebb and flow of beach life in this quirky town.
We will start in Hove taking in the iconic beach huts and finding new ways to photograph them. We will then head towards the piers and the i360, taking in the basketball courts, cafes and attractions along the way. The day will be divided into photo challenges, designed to develop your creativity and focus your way of seeing. We will also concentrate on framing and composition and all technical camera skills will be fully supported.
By the end of the workshop you will have some vibrant eye catching photography to add to your collection.
There is also an optional online meet up for an hour where you can discuss the picture outcomes from the day with your peers, get valuable advice as to how to improve shots, and make different creative editing choices.
