This new workshop is a terrific opportunity to create portraits of people from Brighton’s alt/rock/goth scene. We will have a selection of sitters, sporting alternative looks, tattoos, make up, and jewellery. Strong, edgy and confrontational images are the aim of this workshop. Working in both black and white and colour and manipulating light to make aggressive and graphic portraits.

A wonderful opportunity to learn how to match your lighting style to your subject as well as adding some striking images to your folios.

This is a full-day course with an educational focus: as well as being a fun and sociable day, you’ll produce some amazing images and have some new skills in your toolkit.

You’ll be working in a very small group. 

• Use of continuous and strobe lighting.

• Use of a wide variety of light modifiers.
